Ara, latin for “the Altar”, is a southern constellation described by the 2nd century astronomer Ptolemy. It’s a smaller glittering constellation in the southern sky and represents the altar used by Zeus and other Greek gods to swear a vow of allegiance before going to war.
Created in 14k yellow gold and set with 2.5mm rose cut diamonds, the Ara studs measure 5mm across and come with a silicone backing and 14k yellow gold ear nut and (not pictured, it is the traditional stud backing).
